El violonchelista japonés Komiya Tetsuro, de gira por Europa, y el saxofonista valenciano Josep Lluís Galiana ofrecerán un único concierto en la ciudad de Valencia. Se trata de la primera vez que ambos músicos y compositores coinciden sobre el mismo escenario. En sus músicas confluyen Oriente y Occidente, dos universos sonoros distantes, pero en constante diálogo e interacción, y siempre bajo un marcado carácter camerístico, íntimo y lleno de sutilezas tímbricas y melódicas.

Komiya Tetsuro is a Japanese cellist, composer, microphone craftman. He began playing cello when he was 16 years old. Just later, had tendancy to play cello like guitar and his own style. He took part in a Randooga work shop of Masashiko Satoh in 2008. Randooga is combined various forms of folk musics from around the world advocated by Masahiko Satoh. In 2010, He joined Katsuyuki Itakura Band for 1 year and started his career of free jazz and free improvisation. From 2012 to 2013, He started traveling around the world with his cello, basking each cities. Finally he traveled across Eurasia Continent and played cello in 13 countries. In 2016, He will study cello under Stephan Braun, one of the biggest pioneer of new style of cello.

Born in Valencia (Spain), Josep Lluís Galiana is a musician who has been trained in various aesthetic trends and musical genres such as free improvisation, contemporary classical music, electroacoustics and avant-garde jazz.
Author of the essay Quartet de la Deriva. La improvisación libre y la teoría de la deriva en la construcción de situaciones sonoras por un colectivo de improvisadores, and numerous articles, music reviews and musicological research, he has just published a book about his musical writings LA EMOCIÓN SONORA. De la creación electroacústica, la improvisación libre, el arte sonoro y otras músicas experimentales (Piles Editorial de Música).
He’s member of Spanish Electroacoustic Music Association (AMEE), belonging to the International Confederation of Electroacoustic Music (ICEM/Unesco), and he was its Secretary between 2006 and 2014. Currently, he is president of the Laboratory for Research on Contemporary Creative Processes AD-LAB.
He has performed and recorded with internationally renowned musicians and he has taken part and his compositions have been premiered and performed in most important festivals and concert halls of France, Greece, Italy, Poland, Sweden, USA, China, Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, Cuba and Spain.
He has recorded for the Classical Music Channel-RTVE-Digital Channel; RNE-Classical Radio, Levante-TV, RTVV and RNE-Radio 3, and he has published over twenty-five albums on Marmita-Música Viva, Artics Produccions, AMEE, Intertecno 2000, Cambra Records, Desamparats Productions, Sound In, PrimTON, Luscinia Disco, Clamshell Records, Seidagasa, Alina Records and Cilestis labels.
